Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Assess, monitor and document patient status including vitals, symptoms and response to treatment
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about condition management, medications and follow-up care
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Respond to changes in patient condition promptly and escalate concerns when needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Mexico RN or compact license preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Comfortable working in long-term care/rehab settings; prior RN experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
• Current immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration and wound care
• Ability to perform patient assessments and interpret clinical data
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Skilled at patient and family education, care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Time management, prioritization and the ability to respond calmly in urgent situations
