Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care to promote comfort and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
• Perform routine assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility needs
• Respond to resident and family questions with professionalism and empathy
• Participate in quality improvement and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM evening shift
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and charting best practices
• Basic wound care and routine clinical assessments
• Familiarity with infection prevention and control
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
• Excellent resident and family communication skills
• Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
