Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications, document care, and monitor patient responses with attention to detail
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
• Perform focused assessments and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
• Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity through thoughtful bedside care
• Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required or obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work the posted evening shift and adapt to the needs of the facility

Education

• Vocational Nursing Diploma or Practical Nursing Certificate (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational nursing skills including medication administration and wound care
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to perform focused assessments and escalate concerns appropriately
• Comfort working in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
