Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care
• Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes with attention to detail
• Promote a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Current immunizations and ability to pass required background checks

Education

• Completed accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
• Ability to assess and report changes in resident condition clearly and promptly
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems or willingness to learn
• Comfortable with wound care, ADL support, and basic nursing procedures
• Good time management and prioritization skills in a busy clinical setting
