Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on night shift for residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications safely and document treatments accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Lead timely and clear handoffs and maintain accurate electronic charting
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and transitions of care
• Act quickly and calmly in urgent situations to ensure resident safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or other specialty certifications preferred
• Previous clinical nursing experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute settings preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and health screenings
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with common clinical equipment and emergency response protocols
• Proficient at clear, timely electronic health record documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks during a busy night shift
• Comfort working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
