Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care as a licensed practical nurse
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
• Monitor and record patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support patient education and discharge planning with clear, friendly communication
• Maintain safety, infection control, and facility standards during each shift
• Contribute to a positive, team-first environment that improves patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (New Mexico or compact where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Prior LPN clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
• Current immunizations and ability to pass facility background checks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring with a keen attention to detail
• Medication administration and accurate documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Basic wound care and ADL assistance
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
