Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient condition clearly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and on schedule
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Respond to patient needs and emergent situations with calm and clinical competence
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and independence in a skilled nursing environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Previous clinical experience as an RN preferred — long-term care or med-surg experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a night team
• Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Wound care and basic procedures common in skilled nursing
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Infection control practices and safety protocols
• Teamwork, time management, and bedside manner
