Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Perform thorough patient assessments and create concise, actionable care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident-centered care
• Respond to changes in patient condition quickly and escalate when appropriate
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (New Mexico or compact eligibility preferred)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to pass facility background check and health screening per policy

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Proficient documentation practices and familiarity with electronic health records
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Knowledge of infection control standards and patient safety protocols
