Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to scope of practice
• Perform timely assessments and accurately document patient status in the chart
• Collaborate with nurses, CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Support patient and family education, explaining care plans and procedures clearly
• Promote a safe, respectful and therapeutic environment for all residents

Qualifications

• Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working independently during evening shift and communicating effectively with team
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Clear communication with patients, families and the care team
• Reliable time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Basic computer/EHR comfort for timely charting
