Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform routine assessments and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and follow care plans
• Document care and observations clearly in the facility’s record system
• Support residents with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and comfort
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in New Mexico or ability to obtain state licensure
• Minimum clinical experience as an LPN preferred (exact years flexible for the right candidate)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care basics, and routine nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN / Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring with attention to detail
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and infection control measures
• Electronic charting and clear clinical documentation
• Compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
