Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vitals and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about care, treatment plans and discharge needs
• Maintain clear, timely electronic documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity
• Support facility initiatives for quality improvement and patient safety

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact/multistate RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus
• Previous acute care or long term care RN experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration and documentation skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and credentialing for travel assignments

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical judgment and prioritization in fast-paced settings
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and ability to handle multiple patient assignments
• Commitment to patient safety, infection control and regulatory compliance
