Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient responses and vital signs using the facility EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate timely care
• Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive care environment
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain accurate, professional documentation

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license for New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications such as ACLS encouraged
• Clinical nursing experience preferred; open to experienced travel RNs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to adapt to facility protocols and electronic medical record systems

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with acute care workflows and nursing documentation
• Effective communication, organization and time management
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and support colleagues
