Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments following provider orders and facility protocols
• Monitor resident condition, document changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote dignity, independence, and comfort
• Support care planning and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions
• Provide education and reassurance to residents and families with empathy and clarity

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or compact equivalent
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and documentation best practices
• Skilled at observing, reporting, and escalating changes in resident condition
• Knowledge of infection control standards and patient safety practices
• Comfortable using electronic health records and standard clinical equipment
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and multitask during busy shifts
