Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Support activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to develop and follow care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the patient record and follow facility policies
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate clearly with family members and caregivers

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (must be current and in good standing)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from a recognized provider
• Comfort working evening (PM) shifts and adapting to facility schedules
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is preferred
• Ability to complete required onboarding, background check, and drug screening as needed

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and wound care skills
• Solid patient assessment and monitoring abilities
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Experience or comfort using electronic health records and standard nursing documentation
