Shift Type: Days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in condition, including vital signs and behavior
- Document care accurately and timely in the resident chart
- Support fall prevention, safe transfers, and proper use of mobility aids
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
- Promote dignity, independence, and meaningful engagement for each resident
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent (per Maryland state requirements)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience caring for older adults or in a long-term care setting is a strong plus
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Dependable, compassionate approach and strong teamwork skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a GNA training program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident rights
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Infection control and proper use of PPE
- Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
