Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; specific days to be confirmed with the facility
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
- Measure and document vital signs accurately and report any concerns to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Provide meaningful companionship and engage residents in social and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the RN or supervisor promptly
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Qualifications
- Current Maryland GNA certification or equivalent state certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfortable working with elderly populations and those with chronic conditions
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for a travel contract assignment
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and personal care techniques
- Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
- Proper documentation and charting practices
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance
- Empathy, patience, and effective communication with residents and families
