Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on your assigned shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress
• Collaborate with the care team to create and carry out individualized plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families
• Maintain infection control standards and safe, tidy patient environments

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Relevant clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills welcome
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
• Ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM evening shift and adapt to unit staffing needs
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility credentialing requirements

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and documentation skills
• Basic patient assessment and wound care knowledge
• Comfortable using electronic health records for charting
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Awareness of infection prevention and safety best practices
