Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the care team
• Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate electronic health records
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and support staff to create a great patient experience
• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care with attention to detail
• Promote safety, infection control, and a respectful, dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico license required or ability to obtain
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and standard nursing procedures
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program (vocational nursing diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Proficient in vital sign assessment and basic clinical assessments
• Knowledge of wound care basics and resident skin integrity practices
• Familiarity with care planning and teamwork in a long-term care setting
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Good time management, prioritization, and the ability to work independently when needed
