Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the assigned unit
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting changes and escalating when needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with physician orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the patient record
• Respond effectively to emergencies and participate in unit-based quality improvement
• Follow infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
• Prior acute care or med-surg experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred but ADN graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting habits
• Time management and prioritization in a busy setting
• Teamwork, critical thinking, and bedside manner that puts patients first
• Familiarity with standard hospital policies and infection control practices
