Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with clinical accuracy and a warm bedside manner
• Perform assessments, develop nursing plans, and document care clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition quickly and escalate when appropriate
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (compact license holders encouraged to apply)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a collaborative team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking to prioritize patient needs
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Infection control and patient safety principles
• Effective patient and family education techniques
• Time management and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
