Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document care and chart changes promptly and clearly in the medical record
• Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Act as an advocate for resident safety, comfort, and dignity

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — able to practice in New Mexico
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; advanced certifications a plus
• Previous clinical experience as an RN (facility experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Passionate about resident-centered care and maintaining standards of safety

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
• Competent with medication administration and IV therapy
• Comfortable using electronic medical records for accurate documentation
• Knowledge of infection control, resident safety, and regulatory standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
