Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Follow care plans and document observations accurately and timely
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention measures for geriatric patients
- Contribute to a calm, respectful environment that supports resident well-being
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) in good standing
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
- Comfortable working night shift hours and providing hands-on geriatric care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team
- Passion for working with older adults and commitment to patient-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
- Able to chart accurately and communicate observations to the interdisciplinary team
- Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety protocols
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
