Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs and document changes thoroughly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain clear, timely electronic medical record documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligibility via compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
• Prior acute care or long term care experience is preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Current immunizations and any facility-required screenings or background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients safely
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Comfort working autonomously during night shift and handling urgent situations
