Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, days vary based on facility schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to older adults, ensuring dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention, using proper transfer techniques
- Document care accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families, offering emotional support
Qualifications
- GNA certification or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
- State certification or registry in good standing
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Up-to-date immunizations as required by the facility
- Experience working with older adults preferred, but caring attitude and strong work ethic matter most
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- GNA or CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and senior-focused approaches
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Basic clinical skills such as vital signs, charting, and infection control
- Safe resident handling and mobility support
- Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Team player who collaborates well with nurses, therapists, and support staff
