Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center with professionalism and heart
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely according to facility policies
• Monitor resident condition, record vital signs, and report meaningful changes to the care team
• Document care in the chart thoroughly and legibly to support continuity and quality
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care staff to create and follow individualized care plans
• Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and health-promoting activities
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with attention to comfort and detail

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus but open to skilled candidates
• Strong communication and teamwork skills — you’ll be part of a collaborative crew
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical nursing program completion

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Ability to assess and report changes in resident condition
• Familiarity with basic wound care and ADL assistance
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Patient-centered care mindset and strong interpersonal skills
