Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at Harbor Hill Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform timely patient assessments and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support patient comfort and dignity, educating patients and families as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maine, or ability to obtain state licensure promptly
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, facility may request additional certifications
• Relevant clinical experience in long term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required onboarding screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• For reference, RNs would typically hold an ADN or BSN

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Skilled at patient assessments and recognizing changes in condition
• Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
• Good time management and prioritization on busy shifts
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams
