Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Assess residents, monitor vital signs, and report clinical changes promptly
• Document care and maintain accurate, timely clinical records
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care teams to develop and follow care plans
• Provide clear education and support to residents and family members
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and a clean care environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or ability to obtain one quickly
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility requirements
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care basics, and routine nursing assessments
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or facility settings is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

• Patient assessment and focused clinical observation
• Safe medication administration and documentation
• Effective charting and professional handoffs
• Infection control practices and workplace safety
• Clear communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Basic wound care and vital sign monitoring
