Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
• Perform thorough assessments and create individualized care plans with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient status and care accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions and follow-up

Qualifications

• Current and active RN or LPN license in New Mexico (or compact RN licensure where applicable)
• Minimum clinical experience appropriate to the role (facility will consider RN or LPN applicants)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with medication administration and documentation
• Comfortable working in a rehab/acute care environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
• Effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Calm under pressure with excellent prioritization and time management
