Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center, making each day better for the people you serve
• Administer medications safely and accurately while following facility protocols
• Perform timely patient assessments and monitor changes in condition with keen clinical judgment
• Document care in the electronic medical record clearly and completely to support continuity
• Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to create and implement effective care plans
• Educate residents and families about care, medications and discharge planning in a respectful, clear way
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by participating in unit-based improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state where you will practice (New Mexico)
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — current and ready to use
• Previous clinical LPN experience preferred; comfortable with med administration and resident care
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility immunization or screening policies
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• LPN diploma, vocational nursing certificate, or equivalent completion of an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Proficient in patient assessment and documentation best practices
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) for charting
• Solid infection control and wound care knowledge
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
