Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Harbor Hill Center
• Perform thorough assessments and document observations in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly to the clinical team

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (eligible to practice in Maine preferred)
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work the listed day shift hours and support unit staffing needs

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical or professional nursing program (LPN or RN pathway as applicable)
• Additional continuing education or specialty certifications welcomed

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and nursing procedures
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clinical staff
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
