Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at Harbor Hill Center
• Perform thorough assessments and create clear, timely documentation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery steps
• Support a positive patient experience through professional and empathetic interactions

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse license in good standing (RN). LPN candidates may also be considered depending on assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications encouraged
• Valid state authorization to work in Maine
• Reliable clinical judgment, strong patient advocacy, and good communication skills
• Prior clinical experience preferred but exact years not specified in this posting

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program appropriate to licensure (ADN/BSN or diploma for RNs; diploma/certificate for LPNs as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a care team and communicate clearly
• Comfort with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
