Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the night shift at Casa Del Sol Center
• Perform timely and thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and report changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and allied health staff to implement care plans
• Respond to emergent situations with poise and follow facility protocols
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico, or eligibility for compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
• Comfortable working independently on night shift and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Previous acute care or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration, IV therapy, and basic wound care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during night shifts
• Teamwork, clear communication, and patient/family education skills
