Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status and escalate changes in condition to the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Support residents and families through education and clear communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico) or compact RN license accepted
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, or a similar nursing setting is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with providers and families
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies calmly
• Patient advocacy and a commitment to dignity-focused care
