Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs closely
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately
• Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New Mexico or compact RN eligible
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities during busy night shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion experience
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond to urgent clinical needs
• Effective teamwork, communication, and patient education skills
• Comfort working independently during night hours
