Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Uptown Hlth/Rhb area
• Perform thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, therapists, and families to coordinate care
• Monitor patient progress, escalate changes in condition, and assist with transitions of care
• Support rehabilitation activities and patient education to promote recovery and independence
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Mexico — or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
• Experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred but motivated new grads may be considered
• Ability to handle 12+ hour day shifts with strong clinical judgment and time management
• Valid ID, up-to-date immunizations/health screening, and willingness to complete facility onboarding

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN for RNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities
• Comfort working in a rehabilitation/healthcare setting and supporting recovery-focused care
