Shift Type: Overnight nights, 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM; days of week to be confirmed with facility (Night)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on bedside care to residents and patients, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with respect and patience
- Monitor and report changes in condition — your observations help the care team act quickly
- Perform routine patient checks and document care accurately and promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care and clear communication
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA)
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to obtain any required Maine state credentials
- Comfort working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Ability to pass facility-required background check and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or available through employer support
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to assist with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
- Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation skills
- Knowledge of infection prevention and proper PPE use
- Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn EHR systems
- Compassionate bedside manner and solid teamwork skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during busy shifts
