Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to residents at Harbor Hill Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to policy
• Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Document care promptly and clearly in the medical record to ensure continuity
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and providers to support patient-centered plans
• Support resident dignity and independence through respectful, person-focused care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required) — able to practice in Maine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and common long-term care procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered practices
• Electronic health record charting and timely documentation
• Calm decision-making under pressure and effective teamwork
