Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and scope of practice
- Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient status, and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments while following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and transitions
- Participate in competency testing and maintain required certifications to ensure high-quality care
- Complete required screening, immunization, and health documentation in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (as listed: RN)
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- License and certificate verification will be completed prior to start
- Successful completion of required health screenings: Fit Test, drug screen, and physical/health statement
- Up-to-date immunizations or documentation: Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and TB (2-step PPD or IGRA)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with electronic health record documentation and accurate charting
- Ability to follow specialty competency testing and facility-specific protocols
- Infection control and medication administration best practices
- Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary teams
- Time management and adaptability for per-diem assignments
