Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the rehab/health unit
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery goals
• Monitor patient progress, document findings in the chart, and communicate changes promptly
• Teach patients and families about care plans, medications, and safe transitions home

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing; compact or NM licensure preferred
• Clinical experience as an RN; prior rehab or med-surg experience is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications welcome
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with wound care and rehab-focused nursing interventions
• Proficient documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in urgent situations
