Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
• Assess patients and monitor condition changes with timely documentation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide education and support
• Follow facility policies, safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Report and escalate concerns promptly to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (NC license required or compact eligible)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Prior clinical experience preferred, open to new graduates depending on facility needs
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Flexibility to work a travel contract assignment and adapt to new teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required for LPN track

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Effective teamwork and clear communication skills
• Basic familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
