Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Help create a warm, friendly environment that supports residents' emotional and social needs
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• CPR/BLS certification current or willing to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered mindset
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including assisting with transfers and mobility

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
• Accurate documentation and observation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude toward resident care
