Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding residents
• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living and basic clinical tasks
• Take and report vital signs and observe patients for changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility while following facility protocols
• Uphold infection prevention and safety standards to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Active ability to work in Pennsylvania (satisfy state CNA requirements)
• Willingness to complete facility-required background check and health screenings
• Basic patient care experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply depending on facility needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Accurate vital signs measurement and reporting
• Basic infection control and safe patient handling
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization in a clinical setting
