Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight); nights — specific days of week vary by scheduling and facility needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in a rehab/acute setting
- Administer medications, treatments and document accurately in the medical record
- Assess and monitor patient condition, promptly reporting changes to the care team
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians and interdisciplinary staff to support recovery goals
- Assist with admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact multistate RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or available
- Clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation or similar settings preferred
- Strong assessment, medication administration and charting skills
- Ability to pass facility onboarding, background check and any credentialing requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) or equivalent for RN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and critical thinking
- Medication administration and safe documentation
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Wound care and basic procedures commonly used in rehab settings
- Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
- Time management and prioritization during overnight shifts
