Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents and families
• Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver high-quality care
• Support patient transfers and ambulation while prioritizing safety

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (NH or eligible to obtain)
• BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass standard background check and drug screen
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with strong teamwork
• Previous long-term care or acute care experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff and ancillary departments
