Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support mobility and personal care needs with dignity and respect
• Assist with feeding, grooming, and toileting while promoting resident independence
• Document care activities and observations clearly in resident charts
• Collaborate with the care team to implement person-centered plans and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification for New Hampshire or Vermont, or ability to obtain promptly
• Valid state-required background checks and health screenings as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents and families
• Reliable, professional, and able to follow care plans and facility protocols

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program (LNA program)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Teamwork, time management, and respectful communication
