Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mobility and personal care needs with dignity and respect
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and toileting while promoting resident independence
- Document care activities and observations clearly in resident charts
- Collaborate with the care team to implement person-centered plans and maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification for New Hampshire or Vermont, or ability to obtain promptly
- Valid state-required background checks and health screenings as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents and families
- Reliable, professional, and able to follow care plans and facility protocols
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program (LNA program)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Teamwork, time management, and respectful communication
