Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Document care accurately and timely in the facility charting system
• Support a positive, resident-centered environment through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Valid LNA certification (VT or NH) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtain upon start
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by the facility
• Willingness to complete background check and required onboarding
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help patients

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved LNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with ADLs, feeding, bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance
• Basic patient safety and mobility techniques
• Accurate documentation and time management
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff
• Compassionate bedside manner and cultural sensitivity
