Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Document care and observations clearly and promptly to support continuity
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active LNA license (Licensed Nursing Assistant) — VT or NH licensure as applicable is preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Proof of required immunizations and background check clearance
• Reliable, professional attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care environments is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
• Knowledge of infection prevention and basic clinical safety protocols
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs and basic observations
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
• Basic documentation and charting skills, familiarity with electronic charting is a bonus
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
