Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in line with facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
• Monitor and document patient conditions, including vital signs and care progress
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care plans
• Educate patients and families about care, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control standards
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by supporting colleagues and mentoring when appropriate

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — required
• Previous LPN clinical experience preferred but we welcome confident new grads
• Valid basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable with medication administration, documentation, and direct patient care
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet health screening requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (Practical Nursing diploma)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and safe clinical practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Teamwork, adaptability, and a calm approach under busy conditions
