Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient-centered physical therapy assessments and treatments
• Develop individualized treatment plans that set clear goals and track progress
• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and modalities as appropriate
• Educate patients and families to empower home programs and safe transitions
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the rehab team to coordinate care
• Document clinical findings and progress accurately in the patient record
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtain upon hire
• Experience in physical therapy settings preferred; enthusiastic new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently during daytime shifts and collaborate with a care team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
• Experience with gait training, transfers, and mobility device training
• Proficient in patient assessment, documentation, and outcome measurement
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems
• Ability to triage, prioritize caseloads, and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
