Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, plus one weekend day as scheduled (day)
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans that improve patients' mobility and function
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, exercise instruction and gait training with compassion and safety
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately in the clinical record to support outcomes
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure a safe environment
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and techniques to promote recovery and independence
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Pennsylvania required
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate, team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings is a plus
Education
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, therapeutic exercise and functional training
- Proficient documentation skills and comfortable using electronic health records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Good clinical judgment, safety awareness and the ability to follow care plans
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices
